Snack-bar editions is a lisbon-based independent publisher of the daily and the contemporary, started by Cash & Carry Studio and Marta Almeida Santos.

Each edition captures the seemingly ordinary, evoking the past to challenge the present and imagine possible futures. Exploring subjects such as symbols & identity, language but also feminism and ecological conscience, snack-bar stands for collective reflection and collaboration expressed through words, photography, illustration, and design, and just honest thoughts.

We see diy as a powerful tool for creative autonomy and artistic resistance, and we’re committed to projects that can help bring it to life.
